Horror and dark fantasy author Christina Henry returns with a haunted house story where the monster in the house is the house.
She talks about the house and the malevolent force it possesses and how it permeates the neighborhood, affecting everyone who lives there, even after they’ve moved away, and how Jessica grows up with the guilt and the trauma over being responsible for her brother’s disappearance because of that house. The history the people of the neighborhood have with the house carries through families and generations definitely plays into attempts to deal with and figure out how to neutralize or destroy the house over the years.
