Fantasy author Jonathan French stops by to talk about The True Bastards, the second book in “The Lot Lands” series and sequel to The Grey Bastards.

He talks about how his designing a game campaign to run for his friends led to the development of the Lot Lands and the half-orcs that inhabit the world, how hogs replaced horses as the default mode of transportation, shifting the characterizations to non-humans and how that change in focus enriched the world and the story, and so much more.
