Award-winning editor John Joseph Adams talks about working on The Best American Science Fiction and Fantasy anthology series, and working on anthologies in general.
John talks about how he keeps track of all of the anthologies he works on every year, and as the overall series editor for the Best American series, he gets to read all the stories from the many markets, and narrows the field down to 80 for the year’s guest editor to narrow down to the selections that are published.
John is also working on a new anthology idea, Protest 2025: Stories Against Tyranny, which is currently seeking out crowd sourced funding that will have proceeds going to charity. Yes, there are a lot of folks around the world in mourning.
