Multi-award winning science fiction author Robert J. Sawyer stops by to talk about his newest novel, The Oppenheimer Alternative. This isn’t an alternative history, but rather a secret history about J. Robert Oppenheimer’s work after the atomic bombs had been dropped in Japan in 1945… work that could save the world from an unforeseen solar threat.

The Oppenheimer Alternative Robert also talks about the appeal for him of writing novels over writing for television and film, and tells us about an new set of anthologies, themed collections of all of his short stories over the years: Earth, Space, and Time.
