Science Fiction and Horror author David Wellington stops by to talk about his newest novel, The Last Astronaut. Here he thought he was writing a horror story in space, and a lot of other people are reading something different. We chat about reader expectations, plot and story dissection, and figuring out what a story is about after it’s done and published, and so much more.

This discussion does involve spoilers for The Last Astronaut, so go forth with care if you haven’t read the book yet and want things to stay unspoiled.
