Science fiction author Jessie Mihalik talks about the combination of elements in her Consortium Rebellion trilogy: political intrigue, space opera and romance. As a fan of both science fiction and romance, the pairing seemed more than natural for her to write.

Jessie talks about building the galaxy containing Royal Houses competing against each other, and the adventures of the von Hasenberg princesses of High House von Hasenburg, using their training and skills to prevent their House from falling afoul of conspiracies and power play plots.

Each book follows the exploits of one particular princess and a handsome rogue/spy/bodyguard who helps out on her quest while they fall in love and earn their Happily Ever Afters.

The concluding book, Chaos Reigning, came out from HarperVoyager in May 2020.
